PSV / HGV Engineer (With Electrical Experience)

Arriva Cymru Limited is seeking a skilled PSV/HGV Engineer with demonstrable electrical experience to maintain and repair our fleet of buses and heavy goods vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on PSV (Public Service Vehicle) and HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) fleets, including engines, transmissions, braking systems, and steering mechanisms. - Diagnose and rectify complex electrical faults and system malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and schematics. - Conduct preventative maintenance checks and adhere to scheduled service intervals to minimise breakdowns and maximise vehicle uptime. - Carry out vehicle modifications and component replacements in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures. - Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on time, including job cards, defect reports, and service sheets. - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, company policies, and VOSA standards. - Participate in on-call rotation or overtime as required to support operational needs. - Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment. - Collabor...
