Overview THE ROLE: Sr. Engineer, Packaging will work at our state of art Innovation and Manufacturing facility in here Winston-Salem, NC. Will design and optimize product packaging to ensure product integrity and appeal under varying distribution and other conditions. Tests, analyzes, and selects materials for packaging based on durability, cost effectiveness, and production line compatibilities. Maintains w/continual improvement activities to ensure existing packaging quality. Design and “hands on” experience with a variety of packaging concepts/ practices and procedures. Experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May participate/lead activities with diverse projects as it relates to packaging concepts/designs. Implementing actions to ensure desired results are achieved w/efficiency and cost effectiveness. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
