Job DetailsJob Location: Aurora High School - Aurora, CO 80012Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $1,300.00 - $1,300.00 HourlyAnticipated Start Date: August 3, 2026 Tentative Schedule: LIT 1015 Introduction to Literature: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternating Fridays 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. LIT 2046 Literature of Women: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and alternating Fridays 9:35 a.m. - 11:05 a.m. Position Purpose: The English adjunct works under the supervision of the Academic Dean and is responsible for meeting all scheduled classes and providing instruction in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of CEC, the community college, and the approved course syllabus. Job Duties: Upholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website. Develops and administers English education curriculum consistent with community college objectives. Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to enhance learning. Designs learning activities to demonstrate the application of course work to everyday life. Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning and modifies instructional methods accordingly.
