TAMPA SPORTS AUTHORITY: DEPARTMENT/SECTION: Sportsplex Operations - Grounds POSITION TITLE: Assistant Facility Specialist – Grounds NE – ($15.23 - $24.37 Hourly) - FT POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Tenured: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Assistant Facility Specialist - Grounds will assist in maintaining the overall appearance and integrity of the facility, grounds, and landscaping to provide a superior experience to the tenants and guests of the Hillsborough County Tournament Sportsplex (Sportsplex). In addition, the Assistant Facility Specialist - Grounds shall follow the Authority operational policies and procedures designed to promote efficiency of operation, quality of service and a safe work environment. POSITION REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Facility Coordinator - Grounds JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform landscaping duties including planting, fertilizing, trimming, and mowing. Police facilities and grounds and collects, loads, and hauls trash and debris. Perform repairs and maintain plumbing, irrigation, caulking, painting, brick and cement, HVAC, event support services, and carpentry work in and around the Sportsplex.
