Department: Public Works Division: Water Maintenance The ideal candidate will have the core values to protect and serve the citizens of Richland, be cognizant of the responsibility that is required to provide clean safe drinking water. This person will be a team player and willing to help other members of the team to flourish and be successful, have strong problem-solving skills to ensure the Water System is meeting regulatory requirements. The wage for this position is set by the IUOE Collective Bargaining Agreement, starting at Step A: $31.49 Hourly Position Salary Range: $31.49 - 36.31 Hourly GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Water Manager or designee, performs semi-skilled work in a variety of crafts toward the construction, maintenance and repair of the City’s water mains, service connections, valves, hydrants, automated meter system, treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and other facilities of a water system.
