Senior Manager of Accounts Payable

Job description

The Senior Manager of Accounts Payable is responsible for maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems. This position ensures legal and regulatory compliance for all accounting and financial reporting functions. The Senior Manager for Accounts Payable is also responsible for the development and oversight of the Accounts Payable functions. This position is responsible for providing leadership, creating security safeguard measures, establishing performance metrics and reviewing the performance of all Accounts Payable processes and personnel. What You Will Be Doing: - Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures. - Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls including, but not limited to, safeguards against fraudulent business practices (both internal and external). - Maximizes return reserves and limits risk on cash by payment forecasting and minimizing cash balances. - Reviews the workload of AP team members – evaluates tasks & responsibilities for potential process efficiencies, ensuring tasks are assigned to the proper individu...
