Overview The SVP, Chief Development Officer is responsible for driving enterprise growth through the strategic development of new inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, joint venture partnerships, and targeted acquisitions. This executive leads the planning, execution, and oversight of all growth initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, clinical priorities, and financial goals. The SVP serves as a senior leader and key advisor to the CFO, supporting expansion across multiple markets through de novo builds, market analysis, and partner engagement. Responsibilities: Strategic Growth Planning: - Develop and lead the company’s national growth strategy for inpatient rehabilitation hospital (IRF) expansion through de novo projects, joint ventures, and acquisitions. - Identify and assess new market opportunities based on population trends, referral patterns, payor mix, and competitive dynamics. - Establish multi-year development pipelines aligned with organizational goals and regional demand.
