Job description
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial data to support business decision-making. The Accounting Manager will: - Review month-end procedures for completeness and accuracy - Identify and record monthly adjusting entries - Compile financial reports and perform the initial financial analysis - Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of and ensure compliance with GAAP - Review and record bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and proper coding in the accounting system - Review AR and AP aging on a weekly basis and follow up on outstanding items as needed - Review bills entered into NetSuite for proper supporting documentation and initiate payments - Manage company credit card issuance and limits, ensuring appropriate controls are in place - Manage basic banking functions, including checks, ACH, EFT, and other payment methods - Review invoices and payments received and then calculate the Commission for the Sales team on a monthly basis - Review and file Sales tax on a monthly basis.
