Job Title Process Engineer Position Overview: Shaw Industries is hiring an Extrusion Process Engineer to provide technical assistance to the department manager, supervisors, associates, and internal customers daily. The Process Engineer will be responsible for managing capital projects, driving TPM initiatives and cost improvements, investigating off-quality situations, monitoring and analyzing departmental performance through reports, feedback, and observations. Essential Job Duties: Act as a liaison between the Department Manager and department associates by providing effective lines of communication within the department. Monitor all departmental safety, quality, production, processes, and procedures. Ensure all departmental SMS procedures and instructions are followed. Give direction and support to department employees with regard to achieving departmental goals. Coordinate and oversee special departmental projects that contribute to the continued improvement in the area of safety, quality, productivity, cost, and efficiency.
