As part of its current reorganization, the UIS will conduct a strategic review of its’ Observatory for Cultural Statistics programme of work in its effort to better serve the needs of UNESCO Member States, UNESCO, and other stakeholders. It will also provide further elaboration on the current UIS Medium Term Strategy (2022-2029). Objective: The purpose of this project, which is part of the UIS strategic review of its Observatory for Cultural Statistics programme of work, is to gain a clearer understanding of the international science statistics landscape and provide recommendations for a new strategy.
