HORNIMAN PRIMARY SCHOOL: Learning Support Assistant (SEND) required for 1:1 care for a child with complex health needs In the first instance the Governing Body would like to invite internal applicants to apply for this post. We are seeking to recruit a capable, proactive and caring individual to provide educational support to a pupil with complex health needs. Whilst the successful candidate will predominantly be working within a small team to support an individual pupil, they will also be an integrated member of Horniman Primary schools' community. The role involves closely monitoring the pupil to ensure their wellbeing, support their learning and communication and to maximise their educational and social opportunities. The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to work with pupils with a range of needs included within the normal classroom environment wherever possible.
