Description: The Recovery Support Intern will play a crucial role in supporting student wellness by promoting recovery resources and facilitating all-recovery meetings on campus. This internship provides students with an opportunity to gain valuable experience in peer support, event coordination, and health promotion. The intern will be responsible for organizing and hosting a weekly all-recovery meeting, as well as promoting recovery resources and providing peer support to students engaged in recovery. Responsibilities: Requirements : All-Recovery Meeting Coordination: - Prepare for and host a weekly all-recovery meeting that is inclusive of all forms of recovery. - Ensure that the meeting space is welcoming and supportive of all attendees; clean up the space after each use. Marketing and Outreach: - Create and distribute marketing materials (flyers, social media posts, etc.) to promote the all-recovery meeting and other recovery-related resources available on campus. - Collaborate with the Office of Health Promotion to raise awareness of recovery resources among the broader student body.
