Staff Product Design Architect, Advanced Architecture

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in consumer electronics, mechanical architecture and systems design. - 8 years of experience using computer-aided design (CAD) tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks. - Experience with the design of plastic and metal components, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)/Flexible Printed Circuit Boards (FPCBs), and acoustics used in consumer electronic products. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Experience in shipping multiple consumer electronics products, in a Lead or Principal Engineer role. - Experience in 3D CAD using NX. - Knowledge of common technologies used in consumer products (e.g., plastic injection molding, sheet metal, extrusion, die casting). - Understanding of the smartphone product category and market landscape. - Excellent communication skills along with the ability to present to the executive leadership.
