THIS POSITION WILL BE ASSIGNED TO THE CONROE SENIOR CENTER: JOB SUMMARY: With supervision, deliver programs and events directly to the public; open and close facilities; assist with planning, gathering and organizing supplies/equipment, set-up, assigning duties and take-down for programs and events; perform cursory cleanup of facility as needed; follow all City and Center policies and procedures; responsible for the care and safety of participants. QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Experience in public program/event delivery and staff supervision. - Experience in working with seniors. - Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills and customer service. - Knowledge of cash handling. Education and Experience: - Minimum age of 18 years old. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum of one year of experience in a leadership role. Special Requirements: - Possession of a valid class "C" Texas driver's license or higher. - Ability to obtain relevant certifications within time period designated by supervisor. - Must comply with City of Conroe direct deposit payroll policy.
