Safety Supervisor

Job description

Position Summary Under the direction of the Site Manager, the Safety Supervisor is responsible for implementing work-site safety processes supporting corporate safety initiatives, training, and continuous improvement. This role helps ensure operations remain in compliance with Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requirements, company standards, and contractual obligations by coaching employees on health and safety expectations, reviewing work practices, conducting training, record-keeping. The Safety Supervisor partners with site leadership to ensure safety actions align with business and corporate safety objectives. Supervisor Responsibilities: This position may provide day-to-day direction, oversight, and guidance to assigned staff, hourly personnel, or contractors, as needed.
