Controls Engineer

Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with a strong background in conveyor systems and industrial automation programming and design. This role focuses on designing, programming, and commissioning control systems for conveyor-based material handling solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial networking, and will play a key role in supporting new installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts. Key Responsibilities: Program and debug Allen Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000, RSLogix), HMIs, and communication devices. Design and develop electrical control systems in compliance with engineering standards, codes, and customer specifications. Design and implement AC/DC motor control systems and frequency drives. Integrate conveyor systems with SCADA, MES, and other plant-wide automation platforms. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
