Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina . Benefits: Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance: 401(k) with generous company match Free Basic Life Insurance: Short & Long-Term Disability: Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary Responsibilities: Install industrial piping systems: chilled water, hot water, steam, condensate, and condensed water Read blueprints and submittals: Fabricate pipe supports and spool copper lines Work independently and problem solve: Repair, cap, and test all types of plumbing piping Instruct plumbing helpers under your supervision Practice all EAS safety procedures: Hold license to operate equipment necessary for the role Education Requirements/Qualifications: Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required Minimum of a high school education or equivalent Rigging knowledge preferred: 5 years pipefitter experience preferred Knowledge of pipefitter equipment, power tools, and fabrication methods Knowledge of different types of pipe, valves, fittings, and their functions General knowledge of code requirements and...
