POSITION SUMMARY: As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting healthcare professionals in providing patient care, performing administrative duties, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Medical Assistant I: Greet patients courteously and escort them to exam rooms obtaining pertinent information, which may include obtaining vital signs, weight, height, health history, and symptoms. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures by taking vital signs and recording medical histories. Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatments. Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, including cleaning, sterilizing, and stocking supplies. Prep patient charts for clinic. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information in the electronic health records (EHR) system. Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.
