Patrol Officer Elyria - ( 2600030F ) Description A Brief Overview The patrol officer is responsible to help ensure the safety and welfare of patients, visitors and other staff members of UH. Helps to keep the hospital and grounds a safe environment free of theft and other criminal activities. What You Will Do: - Exercises independent judgment when dealing with potentially dangerous or unusual situations while exercising safety practices and procedures. Can work under stressful, high risk conditions. - Relates to and works effectively with people of diverse cultural, economic and ethnic backgrounds - Patrols assigned area for unusual or criminal activity or conditions that may endanger public safety while maintaining high visibility.
