Job description

Job Summary Troubleshoot, repair, or replace, mechanical equipment or mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical devices and components. Fabricate any mechanical devices or item requiring shop skills or tools as requested. Position Scope: Constant communication with department managers and employees to coordinate mechanical and electrical repairs. Major challenges include working independently on very involved and complex jobs. Works in a normal production/maintenance environment with exposure to temperature changes and some unpleasant working conditions. Education: Major duties and responsibilities of the job can be satisfactorily performed with a high school education or GED. preferred plus two or three years' specialty or technical training Experience: - 2-3 years or specialty or technical training. - 3-5 years of combined Mechanic/Electrician experience required3 - 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
