Senior/Staff Rust Engineer (Backend) - White-label Team: B2B White-Label VPN Platform: Location : Übach-Palenberg / Onsite: About the Role: As a Senior/Staff Rust Engineer, you’ll join a cross-functional team at a leading VPN provider trusted by millions worldwide. You’ll help build a next-generation white-label VPN platform, shaping the backend control plane and evolving our core SDK for enterprise integrations. For us, Rust is not an experiment, but a strategic cornerstone technology for building robust, secure, and high-performance systems. In this role, you’ll not only help shape our technical transition to Rust, but also actively contribute to architecture decisions and long-term technology direction. What you’ll Do: - Design and build backend microservices powering the platform control plane: Tenant management (multi-tenant architecture); Entitlements; Authentication broker and identity flows - Extend and maintain the Kape SDK core, ensuring performance, safety, and cross-platform compatibility - Develop and operate REST/gRPC APIs for internal and external platform integrations - Drive architectural decisions and select appropriate libraries/frameworks (e.g., Tokio, Actix) fo...
