Overview: **100% outpatient** **Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)- required** - Department: Physical Therapist - Schedule: Day shift- with rotating holidays and weekends as per business needs - Facility: St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital - Location: Chicago, IL 60622 Responsibilities: Evaluate and conduct evidence-based treatment of individuals with pathological upper quarter (hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder girdle, cervical area or multiple joints) conditions resulting from trauma, diseases, congenital or acquired deformity. Also, use specialized skills to promote goals of prevention of dysfunction, restoration of function and/or reversal of the progression of pathology in order to enhance quality of movement and daily living skills for individuals with upper quarter disease or injury. Develop and progress plan of care to meet the needs of the individuals served to assist in returning them to their prior level of function. The incumbent must be a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) from an accredited Hand Therapy Certification Commission and must successfully pass the exam, and become certified before onboarding.
