What You’ll Be Doing Your key accountabilities will include: - Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing team to deliver accurate, timely processing of around 3,000 invoices per week - Be responsible for weekly supplier payment runs (~30 per week), ensuring compliance, completeness, and accuracy across total payments of approx. £250m - Maintain a robust P2P control framework aligned to financial policies, regulatory standards, and audit requirements - Own supplier account reconciliations, aged payables, and key payment‑related balance sheet accounts - Drive continuous improvement across P2P processes, reducing risk and enhancing efficiency and supplier experience Who you are: Your skills and experience will include: - A recognised accounting qualification (or equivalent experience) - Strong technical expertise across the end‑to‑end Purchase‑to‑Pay process, ideally within a large or shared service environment - Proven leadership capability, with a track record of developing teams and improving performance - Excellent understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and balance sheet ownership - Strong communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the...
