Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Rigger to join our team in our Offsite Office. The Riggers will operate cranes to move heavy equipment or material around a jobsite for the need intended purpose of the job scope. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Inspecting and preparing material to be moved. - Choosing the correct rigging equipment. - Erecting mobile cranes and temporary structures. - Setting up and operating pulleys, ropes, winches and other lifting gear. - Adhering to occupational health and safety procedures. - Communicating with the construction team. - Dismantling the rigging equipment. - Attaches pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures, such as beams, ceilings and gin pole booms, with bolts - Material handlers using hand signals, loudspeaker or telephone, sets up, braces and rigs hoisting equipment Health, Safety, and Environmental Responsibilities: - All employees are responsible for supporting Audubon Companies’ Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
