Overview Kimley-Horn's Mesa, Arizona (AZ) office is seeking an Aviation Planner with 1+ years of experience to join their Aviation team. This is not a remote position. Responsibilities: - Support planning of airport projects - Support and prepare various technical planning analysis/studies that may include Airport Master Plans, Parking, Ground Transportation, Rental Car, and Roadway studies - Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of aviation management and other staff, contractors, and others encountered in the course of work - As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of planner tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions Qualifications: - 1+ years of prior aviation planning experience - Working knowledge of the airport environment and FAA regulations - Experience preparing traffic impact studies, multi-modal planning studies and improvements, traffic signal and lighting plans, signing and striping plans, and a variety of technical and planning reports - Strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to work w...
