Lead Engineer

Job Description: Ryan Companies is hiring for a Lead Engineer in Austin, TX! This role is responsible for supervising and performing preventive maintenance and general repairs; making adjustments to building systems, equipment and fixtures as part of the Ryan Building Services Team. Some things you can expect to do: Ensure team members understand what is expected of them and hold them accountable for performance, provide regular feedback and have development conversations, delegate appropriate tasks and provide timely and meaningful recognition. Direct, schedule, supervise and perform preventive maintenance work, equipment repairs, and service response. Solicit bids and monitor subcontractor performance during testing and building systems inspections. Monitor, order and approve purchases for building supplies and materials. Participate in on-call, after hours and weekend rotation to ensure building efficiency and customer satisfaction. Train and mentor staff to their development goals and needs.
