High-Level Overview This position supports senior members of Mission Capital Advisors, LLC in their commercial real estate, commercial / industrial and business whole loan sale efforts (with an emphasis on CRE). The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity. S/he will focus on valuation and underwriting of commercial real estate, commercial / industrial and business whole loans, while also gaining exposure to performing/distressed/charged-off residential and consumer loan trading. Additionally, the Analyst/Associate will increase his/her network of debt capital markets participants/customers, including commercial and investment banks, specialty finance companies, and funds. What you'll be doing in the role: - CRE and Business / C&I loan portfolio data review, normalization, stratification and analysis - Valuation of CRE properties (discounted cash flow, comparable sale, value PSF approaches) - Valuation of loans secured by commercial real estate, business assets and other commercial collateral with associated financial modeling and cash flow projections - Analysis of market data - Virtual data room set up / coordinate data transfer w...
