Emergency Department: The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for implementing, directing and coordinating the care of patients through the use of the nursing process: assessment, planning implementation and evaluation. Included is recognition and treatment of the physical and psychosocial changes unique to the age/population group served on the specific unit. - 30-bed Emergency Care Unit - Rapid paced, high acuity unit with 155 visits per day; > 55,000 annual visits - ACLS, PALS, and EKG provided - An orientation program facilitated by a Clinical Educator, focused on Emergency Nursing especially for the novice nurse - Emergency Nursing Association (ENA) orientation curriculum offered (online) - PRN - will need to work a min of 24 hours off shift per 6-week schedule - 12-hour day/evening/night - Weekend and Holiday as needed - Shift and Weekend Differential Eligibility Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Job Class Specifics: 1.
