Title: Railroad Construction Operations Manager Direct Reports: Superintendents, Area Admins, Specialty Craft (Mechanics, Welders, Drivers) Reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, this role is the key leader/ manager of all operations and administrative functions for the geographic area. This role may have multiple direct reports including operations, sales and administrative functions. While this role required operational expertise, the role is strongly weighted on business management functions. Skills: - General knowledge of rail maintenance and construction operations - Capable of managing operations, personnel and processes alike - Proficient in all MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) - Able to multi-task and meet strict operational and administrative deadlines - Must be able to deal with fluid environments. Highly flexible with ability to set and adjust priorities as requirements change Responsibilities: Manage the execution of all operations in an Area in accordance with annual budgeted revenue and profitability metrics.
