Job Description: *ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT FULL-TIME ANNUALLY PAID PARKS EMPLOYEES*: Major Responsibilities: - Under general direction and reporting to the Chief of Staff for the Assistant Commissioner for Public Programs, with latitude for independent initiative and judgment, perform difficult administrative duties for the Public Programs division. - Work closely with the Assistant Commissioner for Public Programs, Chief of Education & Wildlife, Chief of Programming and Strategic Management for Recreation, Unit Directors, Borough Recreation Chiefs, Ocean Breeze Park Administrator, and division staff of all levels to assist in managing the strategic approach to program delivery. - Coordinate meetings, prepare meeting agendas and take meeting minutes/perform follow-ups with meeting attendees. - Research and write memoranda, reports, policy briefings, press releases, correspondence, and other documents with support from Public Programs leadership. - Provide support in managing communication, and data and information reporting processes within the division.
