Position Specific Description: The Vendor Management Office (VMO) Director in the Information Technology (IT) department at NextEra Energy is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, planning, and execution of vendor management activities. The VMO Director is a key role in driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and risk mitigation through effective vendor management practices. To achieve this, the VMO Director will bring exemplary sourcing and demand management subject matter expertise, supplier relationship management, negotiating and risk management skills, as well as significant data analysis with strong financial acumen.
