Job description

Job Title: Senior Analytical Chemist Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related field and 5 years of progressive post bachelor’s experience as an Analytical Chemist in a manufacturing or testing environment. - Prepare and conduct chemical and/or physical analyses as defined by existing work instructions on routine and non-routine samples using analytical instruments including: ICP-MS, ICP-OES, GC, GC/MS, HPLC, IC, XRF, UV-Vis, NIR, KF, etc. - Use SPC principles to verify quality of data, recognize and address data trends. - Document, process, transfer, and review analytical data to ensure completion, conformity, traceability, and validity and support production and other internal/external customer needs; Take corrective action when necessary. - Maintain instrumentation, tools, chemicals, and consumables required for product testing purposes. - Effectively troubleshoot instruments and resolve any hardware or software issues. - Verify the efficacy of samples and ensure that all samples and chemicals are properly stored or disposed. - Lead projects and efforts to foster continuous improvement of new or existing testing methods and practices. - Assis...
