Description The Dock manager will perform a variety of tasks that include supervising Dock employees at our Homer dock location located on the Kenai Peninsula. In addition, this position will be responsible for overseeing the unloading and loading of vessels, barges and skiffs at the Homer location. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Supervise the Homer dock location. - Help manage all Homer dock and yard operations. - Manage the shipping & receiving operations. - Coordinates shipping and receiving and dock delivery schedules, ensuring proper supplies and crew are available at any given time to facilitate operations. - Communicates department needs to subordinates for managing crew. - Works directly with Plant Manager and Dock Manager to establish and implement operational protocols. - Help in the training of dock staff to ensure safe and efficient operations. - Responsible for record keeping of all incoming and outgoing product.
