Overview Location: Divisional Headquarters, Finance Department (Hartford, CT) Status: Non-exempt, Part-time: Hours Per Week: 25: Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm Scope of Position: Provide accurate, timely, and consistent financial support to The Salvation Army’s Service Extension program throughout the Southern New England Division. Ensure that financial records are maintained in compliance with The Salvation Army policies, accounting principles, and donor requirements. Process deposits, reconcile accounts, assist Service Extension volunteers with financial reporting, and offer clerical and administrative support to the Finance and Service Extension departments. Responsibilities: - Assist Service Extension volunteers and committees with completing and submitting financial forms, deposits, and reports. - Maintain accurate financial records for multiple Service Extensions, ensuring transparency and accountability. - Maintain confidentiality and protect the integrity of donor and financial information at all times. - Perform general clerical and administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and correspondence related to financial operations. - Prepare financial rep...
