Machine Tech 1 Job Description: Title: Machine Technician 1 – Hole Dozer Job Code: M64107: Department: Greenwood Plant, Hole Dozer Fabrication The Machine Technician 1 is responsible for manufacturing product by operating and maintaining equipment and processes that provide optimum customer service. Technicians in this category: · Will have a minimum of 1 year experience at MT or prior relative job experience. · Will be cross-trained on all equipment in one “Cold Form” production line. · Will be responsible for knowing and implementing all area specific compliance issues, including quality, environmental, safety and MT/plant policies. · Will contribute to team efforts by participating in continuous improvement projects as required. · Will also assist with training coworkers as necessary. Also responsible for enhancing the department’s productivity and quality and assisting Supervisor or Team Lead as required.
