Job description

The MCIP (Material Cost Improvement Process) Lead Coordinator Europe will play a critical role in reducing material costs at Aptiv. This position requires a hands-on leader who is skilled in cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization to drive cost efficiencies without compromising quality or performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management within the automotive industry, particularly with experience in materials, engineering, and supply chain functions. In your daily job you will: Lead the development and execution of the Material Cost Improvement Process (MCIP) for Europe and meet annual cost reduction targets Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance, to identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement solutions. Calculation and estimation of all savings, from Pipeline 2 to Booked, for all European projects; Report of all metrics related to EU Design MCIP initiatives on a weekly and monthly basis to the leadership; Preparation of the Financial Forecasts on a monthly basis; Organization and conduction of MCIP Workshops, with the goal of conso...
