Dedicated to Excellence, Committed to Service Production Cook A Production Cook is responsible for the preparation of dishes for meals in Student Dining. A Production Cook is responsible for proper food safety, preparation, storage, use and cleaning of equipment, evaluating recipes, maintaining reporting, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Prepare Food: Skillfully prepare dishes in a timely manner as given on the production sheet. Ensure that all food safety and physical safety procedures are followed in all operations. Ensure that all food products meet the Executive Chef/Sous Chef's standards for service. Evaluate Recipes/Maintain Reporting: Review recipes and provide feedback to ensure the best practices and most efficient process are used. Make suggestions for adjustments to recipes when needed by using your culinary expertise to elevate dishes to increase customer satisfaction. Properly record information for food temperatures, cover sheets, production schedules, and any other reports or check-sheets given. Report all maintenance issues to the Supervisor or Manager.
