Company Description Melbourne Dental Specialists (Periodontal Associates), part of the Abano Healthcare network, is seeking an experienced and motivated Casual Receptionist to join our busy practice in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. Job Description: - Warmly welcome patients and create a positive first impression. - Coordinate appointment bookings and manage the clinic's schedule. - Answer phone calls and assist patients with inquiries or requests. - Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and presentable. - Provide administrative support to the dental team as needed. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a dental or medical reception role is preferred. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Confidence using computer systems; familiarity with dental software (e.g., EXACT or D4W) is a plus. - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. - A friendly, professional manner and a genuine interest in patient care.
