Overview Scope of Responsibilities: Oversees operations of the Pharmacy department. Relies on experience and professional judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals. Job Summary: Responsible for the implementation and adherence to the HealthDirect Standard of Practice as it relates to the provision of the highest quality health care service to our customers. Responsibilities: - Follows the HealthDirect Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions - Performs all quality assurance steps to insure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines - Follows all State and Federal regulations governing the practice of Pharmacy - Oversees the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claims - Manages and balances the pharmacy inventory to ensure maximum turns while remaining in-stock for customer needs. - Insures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines - Insure outstanding customer service is exhibited by all employees always - Insure all loss Prevention policies are followed by all employees...
