Director-level Human Resources Consultant – Part-time, On-demand A restaurant group is seeking a fractional Human Resources Consultant to support their growing enterprise. The work will support 20+ franchise restaurants in several fast food and casual dining chains. They will continue to grow by acquisition and will soon own 34 restaurants in Northern California and employ over 700 associates. The most recent expansion has triggered a need for part-time professional support in Human Resources, and we are seeking an experienced Human Resources consultant with an HR generalist background. Duties: - Advises owners and restaurant managers on Human Resources matters. - Standardizes HR work and documents procedures. - Leads recruiting for all management-level positions including job description development, job posting, candidate interviews, offer support, and background check. - Manages onboarding for management-level employees, including developing an onboarding checklist, and ensuring all onboarding tasks are completed. - Tracks and reports on employee training and communicates with restaurant management to achieve 100% compliance. - Leads time-sensitive employee relations investigati...
