This Opportunity WSP is currently seeking a Geologist for our Irvine, CA office to be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. As part of the team, you will have access to a network of resources and opportunities to collaborate on exciting projects. In this role you will take part in providing local technical assistance for the collection, identification, and compiling of engineering geology data and generate accurate and concise documentation, ensuring that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards. Your Impact: - Support large and small, diverse projects with services that include an emphasis on geohazard identification and characterization, field reconnaissance, subsurface investigation, engineering design, construction support, and hazard monitoring. - Under general supervision, perform routine field work related to site explorations including geologic mapping, soil and rock sampling and logging, soil classification, rock coring, preparing boring logs, geologic maps, and geologic cro...
