Senior Road Safety Engineer

Job Description Overview: This is a new role to support the wider road safety engineering team within the Highways and Active Travel Practice. The role will primarily focus on road safety engineering projects, road safety audits through assisting the wider team and leading on smaller projects. The main aspects of work will include identifying and mitigating road safety engineering problems across various highway and active travel design projects, carrying out road safety audits, high level research projects and the formulation of highways design standards and guidance documents. The ideal candidate will also be able and willing to assist with business development in the field of road safety and operational safety across the region. The role is to be based within any of our Wales and Southwest offices, with some travel to other offices and project locations across the UK expected.
