A quality engineer is responsible for the generation of a strategic plan to improve the business processes and increase production output. Duties include creating the company's quality standards and testing systems to reflect efficiency, reliability and performance. Quality engineers are also responsible for the creation of documentation that reports issues and errors relating to the production process with efforts placed to find a solution. Assignment of Functions or Duties: - Interfaces with customers, suppliers, and with other departments within the company to identify and resolve quality-related issues and ensure Customer Satisfaction. - Coordinate MRB activities for relevant product lines. - Develop APQP documentation including Process Flows, FMEAs, and Control Plans, including updates as required. - Define and/or develop appropriate inspection method/plans including the use of relevant statistical techniques. - Coordinate process/product impr...
