Qualification Requirements QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Interested candidates should have a strong interest/background in theater and have completed or is working towards a degree in performance art Or be part of an acting conservatory program OR have graduated from improv training programs (like UCB or The Pit) OR have 2 years of experience as an actor/performer OR have presented live interpretive programs at a cultural organization You must have availability for the full employment period and all rehearsals Preferred (but not mandatory): Experience in roles as a mascot character strongly preferred Experience and current involvement in dance programs strongly preferred Use of puppetry in a show setting OTHER SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: You must be at least 18 years old at the time your application is submitted You have excellent customer service skills, and are friendly and outgoing You can remain motivated while working outside in various weather conditions You have a high level of self-motivation; you are reliable, flexible and accountable Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and walk long distances You must have the ability to lift 30 lbs.
