This full-time, 10-month position offers the opportunity to ignite students' curiosity. Our Middle School English curriculum includes reading comprehension and analytical abilities, composition skills, grammar, and vocabulary. The ideal candidate will bring a student-centered approach to the classroom, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of reading and writing. Responsibilities include: Teach four sections of Middle School English, two preparations Serve as a Middle School advisor to approximately 12 Middle School students Work collaboratively and effectively with peers in support of student achievement and curriculum development Within course teams, collaborate with colleagues toward consistency in grading practices Assess students’ performance and provide feedback in a timely and consistent manner Attend department, division, and grade-level meetings Pa...
