Job description

Position: Child Watch Attendant Wage: $ 17.13 to $17.13 per hour, depending on qualifications Hours: Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week Location: Tom Taylor Family YMCA, Gig Harbor, WA As a Child Watch Attendant, you will ensure a safe, caring, and fun learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 7 years while parents are utilizing the YMCA facilities. Qualifications: - Minimum of 15 years of age or older. - Six months or more of related experience (preferred). - Comfort and confidence working with children. - Demonstrated positive attitude and professional demeanor. - Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (preferred). - Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act). - Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. - Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
