Special Events Media Technical Work Study

Job description

This position works directly with the Associate Director of Event Technology and the Multimedia Event Technician to support technology and educational media equipment and/or events at the college. - Assist with keeping accurate inventory of equipment, answer phone, take messages, and other general office duties. - Must be available to work afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. - Assist with the set-up and operation or sound, lighting and visual needs of all public and private non-academic events on campus as assigned. - Performs duties as may be assigned by the Director of Special Events or Associate Director of Event Technology. - Ability to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Preferred Qualification: - Basic knowledge or interest in audio, visual, or lighting technology. - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently and follow instructions. - Willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and procedures. - Professionalism in interactions with campus guests and staff. - Familiarity with use of Adobe and Microsoft Office Products. - Knowledge of Zoo...
