Therapeutic Care Worker (Casual and Perm Part time positions)

About the Role Strive Community Care provides therapeutic home environments for children and young people with histories of complex trauma, abuse and neglect. We are now looking for multiple new team members to join our growing Strive team. Perm Part-Time (min 40 or 60 hour fortnight) and Casual Therapeutic Care Workers in the Gympie region to play a key role in supporting children and young persons in their healing journey through providing care in therapeutic homes. Therapeutic Care Workers also mentor children and young persons in OOHC through the WeStrive Mentoring Program. These positions are required to work across 24/7 rotating rostered shifts, including sleepovers (minimum 1-2 per week), weekends, and public holidays. We utilise a strong Therapeutic Framework and unique CREATE Model of Care with a focus on establishing holistic safety.
