Senior Electrical Designers complete advanced, complex, and confidential tasks requiring strong understanding of engineering principles and a high standard of designing and drafting skills. Understanding of control system will be an asset Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides design services by gathering information, making studies, computing calculations, and preparing detailed design and deliverables in accordance with project requirements - Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations - Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposals - Coordinates design criteria with engineering providing layout skid packages including MCC building, cable tray and lighting layouts, and motor schematic drawings - Investigates pertinent design factors, such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements - Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to codes...
