Description The Department of Neurology, Division of Neuropalliative Care at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) is actively recruiting for a highly motivated candidate for a tenure accruing position at the rank of Assistant Professor to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists at one of the country’s top-tier clinical, research, and teaching universities Candidates are expected to manage outpatient clinics in Neuropalliative Care and provide inpatient coverage. Participation in academic and research activities, such as teaching medical students, residents and fellows, and participating in clinical trial research is an essential component of this position. In particular, the candidate is expected to lead their own research program with extramural grant funding. As a junior faculty, candidate could initiate their research program with mentored and pilot grants with a goal of moving on to larger independent grant mechanisms.
